Mr. Waqar Ahmed

Prior to forming Naqvi & Ahmed LLP, Mr. Ahmed practiced with top tier firms for almost a decade. He started his practice as a corporate lawyer working on commercial transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and project financing. However, he soon started litigation where due to his earlier exposure, he dealt with highly contested corporate and commercial litigations and appeared before the High Court on a regular basis and also assisted in matters before the Supreme Court.

Mr. Ahmed regularly advises clients on company law and represents them before courts of law as well as various other regulatory bodies, authorities and tribunals, such as the SECP, Pakistan Stock Exchange, Pakistan Customs, Federal and Provincial Ombudsmen and Insurance Tribunal. Mr. Ahmed also has a wide array of experience with civil litigation, including matters relating to contractual agreements, tax disputes, intellectual property, banking, public procurement law and real estate. Besides handling various contentious matters before the Courts, he also has expansive experience in both foreign and local arbitrations.

Mr. Abdallah Azzaam Naqvi

Mr. Naqvi is primarily a litigator having practiced in the field for over a decade with distinguished law firms in Pakistan. Over the years, Mr. Naqvi has represented national and international clients before various courts of law and tribunals, including civil and criminal courts of first instance such as Banking, Labour and Accountability Courts, as well as Environmental and Insurance Tribunals.

Besides having expansive experience of highly contested litigation of both civil and criminal nature, he also regularly appears in various matters raising important Constitutional issues and highlighting grave violations and disregard of the fundamental rights of individuals as well as the general public. He is also well versed with other areas of law such as Accountability Laws, Public Procurement Laws, Real Estate, Property and Revenue laws along with matters against government agencies such as FIA, NAB and other such policing authorities.
